DETAILS
Made in Italy
The stackable Hoff Series by graphic designer Anne Hoff is made with solid artisanship and first-class materials in a stringently stripped back modular structure. Raw terracotta with the Hoff collection invites playful combinations of contrasts and colours.
The design’s stringency is fulfilled when the natural clay pots are matched with the hand-dipped cylindrical saucers in luscious signature glazes. The Hoff series consists of flowerpots, saucers and versatile candleholders – all made to be mixed, matched, stacked, and piled into irresistible combinations.
The collection’s simple silhouettes epitomise the modern Scandinavian design tradition.
Bergs Potter, a Danish company established in 1942, creates handcrafted terracotta plant pots in Tuscany, Italy, using premium Italian clay and high-temperature firing to ensure durability and optimal plant health through natural porosity and aeration.
CARE
- Ensure proper drainage: Do not let the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot become clogged. If water accumulates and freezes, the expansion can cause the pot to crack.
- Elevate your pot: Use pot feet, small rocks, or wooden blocks to raise the pot at least 2 cm off the ground. This allows excess water to drain away before it freezes.
- Remove saucers: Take off the saucer during the winter months so that water doesn't pool and freeze underneath the pot.
- Insulate larger pots: In areas with extreme cold, consider adding an insulating layer of bubble wrap, fleece, or burlap around larger pots for extra protection.
