VASE 1:  The shapes of resistance is a collection of four sculptural ceramic vases in muted tones of dirty black and dusty blue, featuring softened edges and cracked surfaces. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Georgian ceramic tradition, Rooms Studio establishes a dialogue between past and present, and between materiality and form.  12.6"W X 25.6"H

Founded in 2007 by Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, Rooms Studio is the first female-led studio in Georgia. Their work, mainly interiors and collectible objects, is inspired by the Georgian furniture tradition, from ancient and medieval pieces to those from the Soviet era, translating historical motifs into a contemporary design language.

Bitossi Ceramiche is recognized as one of Italy’s historic companies - celebrated for over 100 years for its craftsmanship, design language, and formal refinement, capable of interpreting the present and projecting itself into the future with coherence and intuition. Each creation, entirely handmade by specialized artisans, is the result of technical excellence, material research, and aesthetic sensitivity. Every ceramic artwork by Bitossi is the result of a highly complex artisanal process, both in form and decoration.
