Made in Austria.

The Scheddi is the hoe you keep within arm's reach. At 32cm and just 200g, it's PKS's lightest and most versatile hand tool — a compact solid copper alloy hoe with a beech wood handle built for the close, careful work of weeding and loosening soil where larger tools can't go. The copper blade moves through earth with virtually no friction, introduces beneficial trace elements with every use, and will never rust or need maintenance. Deceptively simple, endlessly useful — the Scheddi earns its place in any gardener's hand.

Since 1995, PKS has been handcrafting garden tools from copper and bronze alloy in the alpine town of Bad Ischl, Austria — a region with a centuries-old tradition of fine metalwork. Each tool is forged by hand using traditional techniques, producing implements that are not only extraordinarily durable but genuinely beautiful objects in their own right. Copper's natural properties — rust-resistant, low-friction, beneficial to soil health — make PKS tools a serious choice for the discerning gardener. Made entirely in Austria, built to last a lifetime.
